...on Christian radio the other day and wanted to share.

"In current times, the fine line between wrong and right has become blurred".

Your thoughts ladies?

I believe the world over, the fine line between right 'n wrong
has become blurred. But IMO that happened decades ago and in
recent years the blur has become more blurred!

I don't think the distinction between right and wrong has changed at all. Black is still black. White is still white. Many have merely chosen to mix the two to make "grey" and pass it off as the new black, or the new white.

I guess those who say nothing has changed, have a good point.
Evildoing is the same now as it was long ago. Only difference is, years back stuff was covered up. Those not complying with societal norms stayed in the closet, so to speak. Everything was hush, hush. Nobody tattled. Now everything is out in the open.

Has anyone read "People of the Lie" by M. Scott Peck? It is an excellent and enlightening read on the subject of evil, in all its overt and covert activities. A book like that, which examines evil in black and white terms, without cover of parable or fairy tale, was very helpful to me in understanding the fine lines between right and wrong. I think there are more ways to commit the crimes that are wrong... ie the aforementioned "p***"
I do think the lines are blurred because our society is influenced by the inventions of video games, sensationalized TV, over-production of gossip rags, etc.

I am going to look for that book on Monday. It sounds like something everyone should read.

PL,
Sounds like you have something there; video games, goofy TV shows, etc. are junking up everybody's mind. And those garbage magazines are enough to make a person laugh out loud, which I do quite often.
