Here's Connie Talbot

Here's Andrew Johnson

And, here's George whose story is that he did not make it to the semis last year but busked his way to earn money for the trip to another audition the following year. George suffers from Scheuermann’s disease but, against all odds pursues his dream to dance. He won and shall dance for the Queen in November.

Nice thing about YouTube is that it captures the talent of children like them and allows for the sharing of admirable children. I like talent shows, too, because I love being surprised by the remarkable talent of ordinary folks. It only shows that they are not ordinary afterall. Cool.

Those babies are matured souls.

Here's a tear jerker (and current theme song) for me (it's a dense download so bare with it, I think you'll be touched).

I'm enjoying all that has been shared so far... it's as if I'm seeing into your hearts.

Your dad has GREAT taste! Who does he like singing it? I love Luther Vandross (singing anything!).

Robert Goulet, Gims. Dad was a fan. Oh, I love Luther Vandross, too. Dance with My Father stops me on my tracks all the time since Dad passed away years ago.

Chick, I can feel with you. Newfoundland is a beautiful corner of this world. My brother went on a bike trip there and just loved it.
Two German sayings come to mind when seeing this video.
“Never tear out a tree and plant it elsewhere.”
and
“Homesickness is worse than thirst.”
Eagle, yes, I had to think of all of you when hearing the lyrics.
Lola, Andrew’s singing gave me a goose bump attack

Gims: “I'm enjoying all that has been shared so far... it's as if I'm seeing into your hearts.” Ditto gims. This is so much fun, hope we keep this thread up for a while.

Eagle, Andrew Johnson won 3rd place and is currently touring the UK. He was also head chorister for Carlisle Cathedral.

Here's 17-year old Jesse who competed for the role of Nancy in Oliver. My grandson's favourite. She did not manage to win it though.

And here's Jodie who won the role.
