On a lawn chair, beside the ocean,
Many days I flow with that notion.

I've a visor to shade my forehead,
And a Best seller that's partially read.
Story books drift me to places unknown,
Or else I darn with some yarn,
On a scarf half sown.

Then I listen to tide,
Splish 'n splash,
Against the seashore,
As I sit and relax!

My Poem for Edelweiss's Beach Picture

Each morning in flip flops I go down to the beach,
To sit in my surf chair while peeling a fresh peach.

The ocean breeze blowing my hair all about,
I feel so refreshed I am tempted to shout.

With peach juice up my nose, and gritty sand between my toes,
I head to the water to wash away my worldly woes...

Lovely poems Jabber and Chatty.

I breath in deeply the salty clean air,
The breeze gently lifts, and combs through my hair.

My skin feels young vibrant and fresh.
I'm wearing my turquoise flowered summer dress.

With bare toes I play with the foam from the wave,
Snuggled in my beach chair on a warm sunny day.

My book on my lap, can't get myself to read.
For the glistening ocean waves are all I want to see.

Though it isn't a long, long trailer,
What could happen is scary indeed,
I think 'bout human failure,
Which neither of 'em, undoubtedly need.

Lucille Ball 'n Desi Arnez,
Now, they had a good excuse,
Their camper, compared to these folks',
Had a much, much longer caboose.

The lady you see through the window,
Had better not forget where she is,
Ground is a protracted distance,
And she has no time to say, gee-whizz.

Should the man up front, let his foot slip,
Or shift in reverse 'stead of ahead,
Those folks are goin' to their maker,
Sooner than later, that's what I dread.

If you were that women, in the back of that camper, that's one
step you wouldn't wanna take!

Say, do any of you remember "The Long, Long Trailer";
that was in the movie theaters when I was a little kid.

A 'black' poem for Women In The Camper picture!

Oh Myrtle my dear, the scenery here,
is gorgeous and can not be denied.

Step out, stretch your legs,
It's been such a long bumpy ride.

Come out dear and hurry,
no need to worry,
theres plenty of space for your feet.

I'll open the door, you gaze onto the ocean,
don't worry the breeze might muss your hair.
Cause where you're going, you won't have a care.

Chatty,
That's a "black" poem, all right! Funny, though! I'm tryin' to
figure out how that dude plans to get into those living quarters? Or doesn't he? Think he's plannin' on giving it a push? Is that Drew Peterson?
