Love the poems, ladies!

relics, save, waste, end..

Lots of women are very impressed,
With Elvis, Graceland, and the rest.

Today is the day Elvis arrived,
Born down South, in '35,

Whenever I come 'cross his sweet face,
I save Elvis's pictures,
There all over the place.
Still have records, cut by the King,
They're 78s, from when he started to sing.

Elvis Aron Presley was a handsome man,
And the best rock 'n roller,
To ever walk this land.

His old records are considered relics, by some,
Nothing but waste they have become.
But I bought those ole tunes,
Way back in my youth.
They'll remain mine to the end,
And that is the truth!

Told that nothing could SAVE me,
I would soon cease to be.

So I want to say this friend,
Please don't cry at the END.

I've lived a good life, nothing I didn't taste
My days were well spent, not a moment did I WASTE.

I married men that were like two Tom Sellicks,
so I go now, not to become one of those useless RELICS.

Those chocolates are screaming- but all in vain.

You can only satisfy me for 10 minutes long.
Those chocolate covered walnuts are oh so wrong.

You know, I'm much smarter than you think I am.
I'm much smarter, you know; - I am I am.

So stop enticing me with your chocolate spam
Into the garbage you go, uh- uh, no thank you, Mam!

I'm tired of those extra, extra, extra pounds!
Tired of counting stomach rings, round and around!

Gonna put my Nikey run shoes on,
Do some stretching on the lawn.

Gonna walk and breathe that good fresh air,
It has no calories, makes me feel good; - so there!

It's 2009, I'm going to get a grip!
You naughty chocolates! Don't give me no lip!

Wish I had thrown some in the garbage! Chocolates that is!

Eagle, now you just made me squirm... of course I threw them in the garbage...uh,...did I mention that my belly's nickname is garbage?

LOL, my trash can has never seen the likes of anything but chocolate wrappers - the trash can would ask, chocolate what's that, I only know wrappers? tee hee

You guys are awesome with the poems, I know I haven't shown it here, but I've written a poem or two that people have enjoyed in my day - I am so busy right now, but hopefully will post another one that you all will enjoy soon - blessings to you all...

That was funny: The trash can only knows chocolate wrappers.
When you find time, jump right in with a poem. We love new
artists! This is fun. But it does take a little time and many
of us don't have much of that!

Freshly washed hair,
Using a turquoise shampoo,
Makes my dark locks soft,
'n gives off sweet scents, too!

Some gals say they scrub their tresses,
Each and every day,
That tells me they overdo the process,
