Dotsie Founder Registered: 07/09/08 Posts: 23647 Loc: Maryland	chatty, the vacation was wonderful. My oldest son and I are beach bums. We pretty much sat on the beach all day and read. We broke for lunch and then the occasional pina colada. Read some more, hit the room for showers, then headed to dinner and the evening show they had at the resort. Next day, begin again. It was delightful to have all that one on one time with one of my kids. He's 23, almost 24. I'm not sure how many more of these vacations we'll have before he wants to spend his time with another woman. Time will tell. However, we paid, so I'm thinkng that as long as we pay, he'll go. I agree with you that as long as we pay, the kids will take vacations with us. My husband and son just went on a 7 day Caribbean cruise in January and they had a great time. They did some SCUBA diving, rafting, etc. My hubby is an over-the-road driver and has been for years and years. I thought it might be a good thing for him and our son to get off and share some quality, fun time together. They had a great time and I can see a definite difference between them.
