If this has happened to me, and it has more than once, I'm certain it has happened to you too. What you ask? Listen up!!

Ever taken a good long while composing an important post only to hit something wrong and have it disappear before you were done and able to post it?
Did it really "tick you off?" Well, I know what you mean and today by accident I discovered how to retrieve that post exactly the way it was before you lost it.

Look to the very top of your computer screen on your left. See the backspace arrow on the upper left corner? Well next to it is a smaller arrow pointing inward or to the right. Once you've blown the post just "click on that little arrow" and whalla, the post is back and you can continue. You can click it as many times as you need to before the post is lost forever. Today I was able to save and continue writing on two rather lenghly posts of my own. Before when I goofed a long post and it disappeared, I'd just move on or slam the computer shut and take a walk to cool off...

iv been luckie before and backspaced and sometimes found the post copyd it so when it flung the original away i just pasted it.

if i backspaced and it vanished then i done something else lol.

id never even noticed that wee arrow before but it dose show a load of old pages would never have explored it otherwise so thanks

Thanks for sharing chatty. This is a good post that will help others. If it happens to me, I go back and cut and paste, then begin again.

I was shocked as to how easy and fast I was able to regain the post that would have otherwise been lost to me. Of course I want to share because if it happens to me, I know it happens to everyone sometime.

Found out yesterday that it works just as well when writing a PM. Just click on the smaller arrow when your text disappears and whalla, it is back and ready for you to continue writing.

I am so glad I found this out because I was writing a long post today under Random Acts of Kindness, and near the last paragraph hit a wrong key (I do that often) and the post was gone...I hit the small arrow at the top of the page and whalla, it was back. I finished and posted it. Normally, I would have gotten so mad I would have just closed the computer not wanting to have to retype the entire message.

Isn't it fun to learn new things?
