ODE TO JABBER
Jabber, oh Jabber, oh where art thou,
tooling around in a motorhome. Hey seen any cows?
Your words of wisdom we need to hear,
you add to this forum so much cheer.
I raise my glass to you, and heres is a toast,
please be careful and on steep hills make sure you coast.
We'll be happy to see you when you return,
you can tell us of far away places, so we can yearn.
I bet with your travels come interesting ideas for poems,
we're waiting patiently to hear them until you get home.

Our Tennessee getaway was a comical trip,
Continuous rain caused lots of awning drips.
The RV ride was sort of fun,
Rented a car, so we could take short runs.
Music City is neat to see,
Love of Country & Western,
Drew us towards the Grand Ole Opry.
Then, down the Cumberland River,
We took a leisurely float,
On The General Jackson Showboat,
We ate till our tummies,
Puffed'n started to bloat.
Nashville and surrounding settlements,
Are beautiful as can be,
If you want to see some pretty,
Take a trip to Tennessee!

Sounds like a wonderful time...despite the rain.
