Thanks Lola. What a lovely vision.

Eagle, I'm sure it's not great for the electric bill, but we also turn our tree lights on first thing in the morning. I just love it. We also have lit garland around our mantle and that gets plugged in too. It really brightens up the living room. Just another way to embrace the season. Keep enjoying.

Yuhooooo...I have a living room full of cards and got four more today. My mail-woman said, "You sure have a lot of friends!" Yes, I do...they are my boomer sistahs! Thank you to each and every one of you.

Lola, what a beautiful scene and so joyful to me. Thank you, my friend.

Chatty, that's a great idea about the jar with the lid that won't open cause I can tell you, I would take/borrow from myself and probably end up with a jar full of IOUs...

Yes, Happy Holidays, Lola! Hang on, girlfriends, I am so slowwwww this year and must apologize. It's all been fatigue and limited time that has made me slow getting my cards out. If they don't arrive by Christmas, I humbly apologize but please know my thoughts and good wishes are with all of you and hopefully by New Year's you'll get my greetings frown smile

I can relate LJ. Mine just went in the mail yesterday. Don't you worry. It will be nice to have them rolling in after Christmas too.

I agree with Red...I am so down after all the cards get here that I call one of my girlfriends and tell her to send me something...I must have another card! So getting them late is no problem at all, you gals...I love it!

I have to do the jar thing JJ or I would be so broke at Christmas I would probably not be able to join in the card exchange and I do so look forward to it every year. I literally crazy glued a jar lid on so I could get into it and this year I had enough saved just by dropping in lose change, to get cards, postage, and a little something extra for everyone. I have already started putting change in a new jar for next year. Oh and ladies your cards are so beautiful and I have read and reread your special messages several times. My card table is full and the center of my decorations again this year.

Thanks Dee, I love thinking of being on top of your red tree.

Guess what? I got a card from Dolly Lama yesterday. Bet you all
did too. How cool was that? I always think of everyone by
their site name; so, I didn't know right off who the Dolly Lama from Alabama actually was...LOL!

How cool, Jabber! I probably wouldn't have guessed either until I saw the address.
