Hi Everyone,

I figured out that I can't jog in cold weather because I have Fibromyalgia and the pain is greater when it's cold (that only took 2 years to figure out- duh!). So now that it's warming up I'm going to attempt to pick up my jogging routine. I start out walking about 2.5-3 miles. I have already signed up for the Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta for July 4th weekend, so that's a motivator. That is about 6 miles. Last year I didn't run the whole way but I did complete it (amazingly, I was in a fair amount of pain that night but the next day I felt probably as good as I've ever felt in my entire life, both physically and mentally).

My lifelong dream is to run a marathon, or even a half-marathon, but I know I'll have to be in a lot better shape than I am now for that.

Thanks for all the advice and support. I'll keep you posted (my dog is thrilled that we've started this new routine up again-- lots of squirrels out this time of year. ) :-)

Kelly
