Announcing our...

2008 Christmas Card Exchange

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, would be to send a card to everyone on the list you'll receive from me.

Participation is open to any member of this forum, and trust me, you don't want to miss out on the fun!

Last year, the day would find me stalking the mailman. I wanted cards and I wanted them NOW! I would bolt out the door when I saw their vehicle approaching hollering "gimme! gimme!"

To this day, the mailman is scared of me. Wimp.

Almost without fail, and for weeks I received (as did everyone else) a new card in the mail with a sweet note, a picture, or a message of friendship.


Please note: As we did last year, we have opted out of the Christmas Gift Exchange. We had a couple of instances last year that drove this decision.


Christmas Card Exchange- Guidelines

If you would like to participate in the Christmas Card Exchange, here's is what I will need via email from each of you:

Your first and last name.
Your "Call" name on the site (i.e., mine is jawjaw)
Your email address
Your full address, City, State and Zip code.

THIS IS IMPORTANT...PLEASE READ...The cutoff date for sending ME your personal info is December 1

DO NOT POST THIS INFO IN THE FORUMS! Send you info to: georgia@boomerwomenspeak.com

Around the first week in December you will receive a document by email (please make sure you give me a good, working email) with the names and addresses of all the women who have chosen to participate so you can address and send you cards.

Although I say I am, I'm not perfect. I may overlook someone. Please---LET ME KNOW...because this is FOR YOU! And we would NEVER want to leave anyone out.



Remember, this is an open forum so PLEASE do NOT list your personal data here in the forums and if you have suggestions, questions, or comments, please also send those to me at my email address listed above and not here in the forums.

Bringing this back up to the top because sometimes people don't click on the page 2, 3, 4, etc....they just read the most recent post and they miss things. I know I do myself sometimes...guilty!
