Hi Anne. We don't go out either, but for many years now, I've
wondered what it'd be like to spend the holidays in Florida.
I have a friend currently spending some time in The Villages.
And I think that sounds like fun. I've read about or seen
fliers regarding that Disney Island you refer to. That's certainly intriguing.

I'll get down on my knees New Years Day and Eve praying to God for NO terrorists attacks anywhere in the world. I know here in town security measures have been upgraded to 'orange' at that time...

I think we all support praying for no terrorist attacks. It is always scary when homeland security upgrades to orange - after all, there is only one color higher than that: Homeland Security color codes

That terrorism situation is scary stuff! Here's praying there are
no successful attacks!

So far so good as far as terrorist attacks...

It's time for good cheer,
the New Year is here.

It's now 2011 for 365 days,
we all make plans to live better, and behave.

For me it's losing weight, the task I have begun,
More exercise as well, get out of doors and run.

My book is coming along as well,
all the secrets I know I'm gonna tell.

I am hoping the New Year will bring you much joy,
and all the single women among us finally find a boy toy!!!

Out with the old,
And In with the new,
I'm praying for success,
For me and for you.
The goal for this year,
Is thinking positive'n clear.
So, blessings I say,
As we go on our way.

God is The Potter,
We are the clay.
Mold us and shape us,

Tells of the Holy Mountain,

Life is hard, requiring spiritual strength,
For all earthly blessings, Lord,
We do give Thee thanks.

SNOWIN' & BLOWIN'

Snowflakes'n wind are next of kin,
Leastwise, that's how it seems to me.
Flakes come down, wind kicks 'em around,
And blinds everyone's vision, constantly.

Snowflakes are frozen ice crystals, they say,
Developing droplets which freeze,
Falling through differing temps,
'N experiencing varied humidity.

You've heard it said, no two flakes are the same,
Well here's what's to blame, seems to me,
While fallin' through the air,
And bumpin' into each other, up there,
They're forming shapes of indiviality.

The largest snowflake ever found,
Was in Fort Keogh, Montana, they claimed,
Tallest snowman ever made,
Came from the city of Bethel, State of Maine.

Winds are classified by, spatial scale,
And speedy forces which prevail,
Kin of heaviest windy wind, keeps blowin' in,
Those blizzards, again and again!
