JJ, you make me laugh out loud.

Yes, I think a home portrays the personality living in it. although, every room in our house is different. What does that mean? Am I schizophrenic?

There is an underlying element in all our rooms. That is the love of the sea. I have many nautical decorations and pictures. Our bedroom is Laura Ashley, our living room is Toscana, we have a "Bavarian" room, a beach room...but somehow they all do fit together.

Oh my word! You have names for your rooms? Hmm...let's see, my kitchen is "Dishes in the Sink," my living room is, "Dust-A-Million," my bedroom is "Can't Get No Satisfaction," <insert giggle> and my office is, "The Twlight Zone."

JJ, you're a nut. I'm afraid to ask what you call your bathroom.

And EW, your home sounds lovely. The love of the sea could be a theme for one of the rooms in my son's home. We've always taken the kids on beach vacations since they were teeny. Seeing that my son has picked up on that theme in his home is touching. He has this one photo of the beach. The ocean is in the background and there's a dog digging a big hole, with only his butt and tail sticking out of the hole. The hole digging reminds me of that same son. Whenever he sits in a beach chair, he digs a hole directly in front of the chair, then puts his feet in the hole when he sits.

chatty - YOU bad!...lol....
naming rooms - we only have one room which has a name (to speak of)... we call our family room the "orange room," because of the ugly orange carpet it had when we bought the place. Leave it to JJ to come up with such names... dots, aren't animals a most curious creature? EW, you have a LA bedroom - WOW! Do you mind sharing pictures of that?

gims are you talking about my son or the dog?

I should have known I'd get soem names for JJ's bathroom. Great ones, cahtty.

I'm not sure what this says about our house, but none of our rooms have names. We call them the living room, the den, the kitchen, blah, blah, boring. But I still love our home.

Gims asked me to post some pictures of my bedroom…So whoever is interested; here is the link. Turn up your volume! And let’s have a pajama partyyyyyy!

My bedroom if the link doesn't work, then just copy this ; http://www.immobilien-schwarz.de/making_whoopee.html and paste it.

Oh and Gims, how about you posting your favourite room in your house? Or anyone else want to share? Dots, has your son taught yet how to post pictures yet? Do I have to come over and teach you? lol.
