Geocaching At Allegany
Went geocaching, for hours and hours, At Allegany State Park, amongst fields and flowers.
Was searchin' for hidden treasure, ya see, Experiencing pure pleasure, the family'n me.
Thirty scavenger hides, we found here and there, As much fun as ridin', a buckin' bronco that's bare.
Before long, we'll have posted 3,000 geo finds, The three of us like doin', stuff the same kind.
I thank The Lord for, His new technology gifts, Which take you outside, rambin' this ecology, of His.
Saw the most beautiful bird, there today. Only in an aviary, is such wonder at play.
Vividly blue, with a velvety hue, Bet you'd love it's awesomeness, too.
An audubon book, up on the shelf, Says the Indigo Bunting, I saw for myself.
And I thought, Aw what truth He doth declare, "Beauty for Ashes," He bestows everywhere.
Friends, I contend, I sure would be done, If not for The Holy Spirit, Father'n Son!

Park Walking
They're walking dogs, there in The Park, Across the street, from morn till dark.
Green, green grass is blanketing the ground, Singing birds, you hear all around.
Doves are hooting, down a distant lane, And geese go waddlin' to whence they came.
Killdeer carry on, as if facing what's dread, Male Cardinals' show-off feathers, of bright, bright red.

Paying Tribute
This tribute is to those who gave, All for others, then were put in a grave, We salute you!
The men'n women currently defending, freedom, Gain our admiration'n respect, for we certainly need 'em, We salute you!
In honor of adoptive parents that give, A lifetime of work, so others' can live, We salute you!
Medical personnel caring for the ill, May God's healing hand, direct thy will, We salute you!
Public servants enforcing the law, Making civilians behave'n all, We salute you!
To firefighters risking life and limb, Where angels fear to tread, whether her or him, We salute you!

This month of June, on the 11th day, I see no new poetry, here on display,
But the loveliness of spring, keeps running through my mind, Natures' blossoms are telling a tale, of love so sweet 'n kind.
Baby geese and baby birds, look 'round you'll see 'em my friends, God's voice is loudly heard, healing the hurts of men!

We are all hear reading one anothers post, forgetting of this poetry section, to make the most.
I too love spring and summer and being out of doors, but today I am busy mop in hand, cleaning my tile floors.
Maybe to night if I get it all done, I'll head out to a Casino and have myself some fun.
I wonder how Sassy will do the first time she's left all alone, Oh hell with the Casinos I would rather simply stay home.
The weather here is beautiful, warm, balmy and bright, the sky is so clear and blue, not a rain cloud in sight.
Now this weekend the heat is suppose to return, taking aim at the sun bathers on their persons it will burn.
I wait till the sun goes down and the evening is cool, then I take my Sassy and we walk up and relax by the pool.
I could write more, much more but then where would it end, just know that I am sending good wishes and love, it's all I have to send...
