Thank you JackieG, I truly do appreciate you answering that inquiry. I only have a small spot and it's not in an eye catching place, so I'm going try your suggestion.

And, welcome aboard. smile

I've also enjoyed the tips...must get some powder cascade! I have some problems with rust due to hard water and would love suggestions but will definitely try the snobowl stuff. Thanks again!

"Snobowl" toliet bowl cleaner, per JackieG, will get rust out. Am I understanding her correctly? I don't think she meant Cascade will get it out... if it could, there would be no need for protective gear - or not?

That's what I understood. But I've never seen that product. Maybe it's because I've never looked for it...

Cascade has nothing to do with rust. Its good for dishes but thats about it. Going to try the SnoBowl however we have very hard water here and there is a rust issue.

LOL - yes this is a cascade thread, but someone asked about rust so I told them about snobowl - I don't believe you need to use gloves with the cascade.
Yes, you ladies have said correctly - snobowl will be in the grocery in the cleaning aisle next to toliet bowl cleaners like lysol toliet bowl cleaner - this is a liquid and is in a slim plastic bottle - and you need to wear gloves - now if you can't find the Snobowl - there is another product that removes rust called "Wink" it is in a small brown plastic bottle that looks like what an old coopertone suntan lotion bottle used to look like (remember those) "Wink" removes rust and can be found at the grocery or hardware stores like ace hardware - also please use gloves with the "Wink"...

I have to e careful with product fumes. I was using something Gold in my bathroom and the fumes nearly got me. I started coughing and nearly choked to death. I am very careful now. My DIL bought a hand held steamer and it works like a charm removing rust or anything else. I am going to get one for my home too. In the meantime the rust can just wait to be removed, after all its in the right place, the crapp//!!!
