That's how big a your new baby is at 8 weeks? Babies simply grow up too fast these days!

Boy, they are growing. Oh, those are goats...
So, are the goats eating dog food, or are the dogs eating goat food? Just wondering ...one of my hub's horses eats dog food.

The pups are eating goat food! The goats would not touch the dog food! Do you think they are telling us something??

uhhh, that might be... !!! Never thought about that!
Spinning from your comment comes the thought that my hub's horse is a cannibal... yuck! Actually, she was a rescue animal, which was starving when my hub brought her home, and because she was starved by a previous owner, she learned to eat most anything. She's in her last days, and her teeth are near gone, so she looks that sickly again. We let her eat and drink anything - peanut butter, coffee, banana w/peeling, etc.
Your babies are so cute.

oh goats.... that reminds me...back oh gosh... 23 years ago now.. when my son was born, he was allergic to my milk, and formula, and cow's milk, and everything else we tried. And then we tried goat's milk. Finally, something he wasn't allergic to and his stomach could tolerate. At first we bought it from a lady down the street, then it became more cost effective to buy our own goats. Our milking goat came with the name "lady"... and I'll tell you, she was no LADY!

We had babies too, twins. Brat 1 and Brat 2. I guess I won't tell you too much about what they were bred for, but, darn, they tasted good.

My ex-mother in law, kept a pygmy goat as a pet. It would climb up on the hood of her car and sleep like a cat.

She also had a pot bellied pig that was house trained.

For the life of me, I can't remember their names. It was a LONG time ago. A totally different life ago.

DI..how adorable...the pictures are too cute...pretty smart raising the puppies and the goats together...they'll think they're related.

Vicki...your goat story is a hoot...never had goat before.

I'm not going to show these photos to Larry...he'll want to run out and buy one or two.

Di, so these are not pigmy goats, right? The adult pigmy goats I have seen were even 20 pounds, very small and cute as can be. Your goats look like regular size goats.

Hmmmmmmm....well we were TOLD they are pygmy. When we picked them up, they were much smaller than the other non-pygmy ones.

Maybe since New Mexico is so large they LOOK smaller!! LOL!!!
