Thanks my friends. I feel sort of silly, because I feel just great right now. But I'm still going to the doctor and see what he says.
Princess I speak German fluently, so that's no problem. but you are right; having to go to the doctor and not able to communicate is a frightening thought.

We are here because we are Boomers..and the fact that medical issues can come along at this time which must be addressed.
I for one have several medical issues. And so will many others.
In every way we share so much .We care deeply when one of us hurts..having this place to ask...to share and to encourage.
So dear EW you know we want to see your health settle to managable..
Rules...to be kept...faith ...to be held..and fun and laughter...
Mountain ash

I recall from my health studies. This conclusion.
Wellbeing is not the absence of illness its the approach to acceptance and managing life.

EW, two of my sisters have had similar issues. One learned that it was something she'd had since birth. She took medicine to stabelize the rate for two years, then had the procedure done. They had to close off an extra valve. NOt a biggy.

My other sister's heart would race and then slow down. She's worn heart monitors and sure enough, this is the way her heart beats. One doctor recommended beta blockers, and then the specialist recommended nothing. Go figure. She was in a stressful job when this was at it's worse. She is no longer in that job and she is doing better.

Please ask if you can wear a monitor for a week. It's the only way to see how your heart is beating over a long period of time. SO glad you are feeling. If it happens again, make sure you follow up immmediately.

Yonah? May I call you Doctor Yonah? I just had to let you know your diagnosis was 100% correct. There is a new uncomplicated operation for this ailment, (which is hereditary). They actually fix it like an electrical wire gone bezirk.
Sooo, all is well again, because I know it can be healed! I bow my head in admiration and thankfulness for modern medicine.
AND all your well wishes and prayers have helped me once again!
Love love love all of you!!!!!!!!!

That is wonderful to hear! It cracks me up when they refer to the heart as an electrical system. When the doctor first thought I had something wrong, the first thing he did was an ekg. When he tried to explain it to me, he said it may be an "electical" problem. I laughed and said, "Oh, you mean there could be something wrong with the machine. I thought you meant me." He said, "I did mean you." Duh! I don't get it. There's no wires there. As long as they can fix it, they can call it whatever they want.

I had heart arrythmia problems for over two years. I still do occasionally during times of stress, but for the most part they disappeared when I retired.

Hello Edelweiss! I haven´t been around for different reasons lately..and I find that your heart has been going beserk! I am lucky to have checked in at this point in time..and find that there is a cure for your problem!!! YES! YES! YES! I am so happy and grateful!

Are you considering winding down a bit? You know..it´s not too long ago that you were an very active and dedicated grandma too. Kinda typical that your dear heart reacts sometime after things kinda settle down. But..your body has been "programed" for this to happen, genetically, if I understand your situation correctly?

EW..you say that you speak German fluently..I speak Swedish fluently, too. It´s my 3 rd language and I feel comfortable in it. BUT I do notice that I am not as "quick" or perhaps "specific" as native Swedes. This can be a hinder for me when I am trying to explain myself to a doctor, for example. Neither the doctor or I notice this..because I am fluent in Swedish and even sound like a Swede..but I am still not as proficient in the language..and I don´t totally get across the message that I want in certain situations..at work, also, for example... I am not as "quick" and when I need to be quick.. I am not as diversified. Have you found this in German, too? Do you know what I am getting at here?

EW..I am sooo thinking of you and praying for you..but it´s like you suggested: only the good díe young..so you have no worries here! Right?

HUUUUUUUUUGS!!!!!!!!!

PS Gosh..reading this thru again..I am not that good in English either anymore..I mean WHAT language am I proficient in????

Although I do have stress in my life, the doctor said this disfunction isn't stress related. So,..guess I still have to keep working. You may have missed the post, Humlan. We have Anaiya AGAIN. And if DIL makes the team, we will have her till September. But she goes to Kindergarden mornings so that eases everything a little. And this time, quite truthfully, I just don't want to give her back. She is a sunshine in our lives. All together we have had her one and a half years. Three times longer then her own parents had her.

Ok EW..I did miss your post about having your granddaughter again. Please forgive me. I am trying to keep up here..but my son´s graduation is this coming week..on the 5th of June..as is my daughter´s graduation from nursing school. My daughter is very very tired and at her wits end actually..so I have been caring for my grandchildren too on top of everything else. As you say yourself..my grandchildren are a joy and blessing in my life..so all is well..but I am perhaps not as focused as I would like to be..well, as my partner says jokingly..then everthing is as it usually is. I WOULD LIKE to be focused..but I am usually in a muddle of somekind so sorry about the miss..and happy that you are correctable and that you are enjoying your granddaughter

PS I hope that you can fathom what I am trying to say here don´t look for anything deep here..just trying to say I am relieved that you are ok and that they can put Humpty Dumpty (you) back together again! HUGS!!! from Miss Piggy
