I understand that having a glass of milk, warm milk soothes one to sleep.

My best tactic to sleep better is to do some light stretching exercises about 1-3 hrs. before I got to bed. It's only 20-30 min. of exercise, while the tv is on. And I'm not even sweating but heart beats just abit faster from some effort.

Straightens out muscle kinks, reduces muscle soreness, relaxes your body..so less prone to injury due to greater flexibility and allows you to sleep.

And I have to do this more regularily or otherwise I end up with a backache in a few months.
