I have to say this is a first for me since my 2nd. husband died. Both of my dear past husbands always made Valentines Day a sepcial one for us as a couple. Last night my detective friend asked me to a dance on Friday, Feb. 15th. since Valentines Day falls on a Thursday. Its black tie at the country club. I took out one of my formals I wore when working in Washington, its old yes, but like new as it was only worn once. It's deep purple on the bottom and at the bodice it becomes sparkling sequins of black, golds, purples, lavendars, silver, and pinks on top. Has a scoop neck ands three quarter sleeves. Perfect for a winter fromal. He will pick me up in a limo, he will be renting with two other detectives and their dates. I feel just like Chaterella...

Hey...Larry and I were taking our daily walk when he told me he got a personal leave day for Valentine's day...I was surprised because he's not a romantic and he's never gotten into this sort of stuff until he met me and I pouted when he didn't make it a big deal...so, wow...he's got something up his sleeve and I feel like a teenager about it...I can't wait to find out what it is.
