You two, also, Louisa. Your husband looks like a country gent. And, I agree with dotsie... your hair does look good long.

OMGOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a beautiful dress...goodness...you were such a beautiful bride! Can you have the photo redone with the colors enhanced? I would imagine this day and age you could have someone redo it and it would be like new again. Meridth...you're so beautiful. LOVE the photo.

You were - and still are - beautiful, meredith!
Your husbands hair cut is the tell tale sign of the day...lol. I look at our wedding photos, too, and can't believe my hubby ever had his hair that long. He keeps it cut so short now.

Thanks Dee! There's a story behind that dress  I started shopping for shoes almost 2 months before the wedding, knowing how difficult it is to find anything in my size (then was 10AAA, now more like 10.5 or 11 AA) Two weeks before the wedding I went out to look for a dress!  Hey, I was 5'7", a perfect size 10 and long-waisted, very easy to fit in a dress. I found this one in the 2nd store we went to (Mom was helping me shop) and it was maybe the 2nd or 3rd dress I tried on, that was it! Of course, the salesladies in both shops were in shock that I waited so late -- but I had my shoes which were the hard part. The only alteration the dress needed was to take in the width of the lower sleeve.

) Anyway, it took about six tries before Larry relaxed enough to keep his thumbs down...I didn't mind...I was enjoying the kissing. Thought I'd share that chuckle with my boomer friends. PS. We've been married almost 3 years and I still make his thumbs pop up...
