I was trying to explain my brain to my hubby just last night...he can't quite "get" this whole concept (much less the reality) of multi-tasking. Even when it looks like I'm just sitting on the couch watching boring TV shows with him, my brain's working on a myriad of chores, problems, solutions and various assorted activities. Then when it's time to do them, it's quick and easy, because I've already worked out the details in my head...this was a huge asset when I was computer network administrator!

(BTW, it's a long story why I DO sit there watching TV with him when there are so many other things I'd like to be doing - it's one of the few things he's ever asked of me, just to sit there and keep him company for a few hours in the evening; so for the short amount of time it involves, it's worth it - but that doesn't mean I actually WATCH the stuff!)

I'll have to show him this picture so he can see what I was trying to tell him.
