I stay clear of books with glitter; they are trying too hard. The cover may catch my eye, but still I don't allow myself to be influenced by it, unless the cover is a turn off, like a cheap romance.

JJ, thanks so much for putting this poll together. I think it'll show good results, either way. Yeah, back cover blurb would have been a good one to add. If I want it in my hot little hands, I go to the library, or I visit my local bookstore and purchase it. Pronto, I can begin reading. If however, I don't mind waiting till the cows come home, I order off Amazon or Barnes/Nobel.
