When I take my almost 90-year-old mother to her doctor appointments, I always go in with her. I need to know what's going on anyway so I might as well hear it from the horse's mouth. Depending on what kind of an exam it is, I sometimrs leave the room and then come back in when it's time to talk about the diagnosis, etc.

Yes, it's time consuming, but it is part of what we boomer women do. [Smile]
