Dianne, when you're really in Heaven, I bet you will be the first angel to wear heels.

I'll be the trend setter for all the other angels. Who needs wings when you have stilettos'?

Ok, my partner wondered why on earth I was looking at this site, when the closet has 15 different pairs of my shoes. And I confess, 2 pairs are brand new, I haven't worn them for last 8 months...

I wear custom-made orthotics and have been wearing them since I was 35 yrs. That puts a limit on what one can buy shoewise.

Mustang, because of my feet problems, if I buy dress shoes that don't fit an orthotic, then I must spend a minimum of $100.00 for quality shoes with some arch support, balance and durability.

Armadillo, Ecco, Keen's (for casual), Bandalino, etc. You know, over the years, I am noticing more comfortable shoes for dressy and walking occasions. But the stiletto, etc. opposite trends continues.

Mustang, there's lots of leather, walking fitness shoes, that are funky right now. You would look younger, fitter, more hip....:D

Mustang, Merrills are so comfy, though a little cloggy too. You could also buy arch supports to put in your shoes.

My father sold shoes for a living and I can fit a shoe on anyone , I learned from the master " My Dad" .. I have seen women that it drives me nuts if the shoes are to big for then and when you toe slides down in them you have gap of an inch . I have going to the shoe dept and in process of buying shoes , just fitted people up myself and helped . I love doing that .

Anyway, to get to your point of othotic in the shoes you will need a wider with . Easy spirit makes then they have a web site and "SAS" and we have a Van Dyke and Bacon shoe stor here that shoes you can where . I wear a Dr. Scholls jell heel pads in my shoes , for I have heel problems and this helps . As we get older our feet do widen and we need a wider with at times .

Hope this helps and good luck

Blessings,

Renee

Thank you Orchid, Dotsie & Renee. Today I tried a pair of Clarks sandals, and ohhh they were comfortable! Below I've placed links to two pair of shoes (one Clarks, the other espadrilles w/ cushion soles) that appear comfortable, let me know what you think!

Mustang...
those are both adorable...not punishment at all to 'have' to wear them!
