JJ, it's true. We stay connected via a message board just like this, since 1999.
And through our daily scheduled chat, through instant messaging and phone calls.
And sometimes a bunch of us will meet in an online scrabble game room
We have regular "meets" each year.
All of us are boomer age and our friendship way outweighs any differences.
These gals are so like sisters to me. I belong to a few other
boomer groups as well, but I think that is my largest LOL!!

That is just downright awesome. So many women joining in friendship. I love it. And yes, you are right, its just like here so I guess it is the same, isn't it? Except we haven't taken a vacation together. But look out, that could be in the works!
