Every once in a while I get a boat-load of places to submit. I'll share them as I do.

1. I'm looking for stories on SMALL BUSINESS START-UPS. Businesses that are relatively quick and easy to start, can be run from home and done full or part time. Especially interesting are stories where people have taken hobbies and other than work related interests and turned them into small niche profit centers.

Please email stories within the email text (without attachments) to

Tommy Jenkins. My email address is btjona1a@yahoo.com

or call me at 561-603-7736.

2. I have a FOOD PUBLICATION (email) and am looking for writers for food / trend and product related stories. We DO PAY for submissions that are accepted. Belly DuJour, the definitive source for eating enthusiasts looking for delectable specialty foods and seasonal recipes, is currently seeking submissions for its twice-weekly e-mail newsletter. All inquiries should include clips and a resume and be directed to Natalie Burns, who can be reached via email, natalie@bellydujour.com.

--John P. Larson, Co-Founder, Publisher, www.bellydujour.com, 612/309-2374 cell.

3. I am writing a book on the 10 biggest mistakes people make when shopping for a MORTGAGE. I need "horror" stories from people who have had bad experiences with a mortgage company or employee. Surprised at closing? Did not close? Bad experience with an internet or out-of-state lender? Been sold a mis-leading mortgage only to find out the truth too late? I need your story. Please email me at LonnieGlessner@comcast.net.

Thanks! www.3MortgageSecrets.com

4. DO YOU FEEL OVERWHELMED BY THE WAY YOUR CHILD USES THE INTERNET? What parts of the Internet scare you the most? Do you take the lead, or do you let your children make the rules? I'm writing a book about parenting for the Internet. It will have plenty of practical advice on maintaining privacy and security, how to use the web and e-mail, and about newer trends like social networking and instant messaging. What would you want to see in a book like this that would help you be a better online parent?

Write Todd Curtis at tcurtis@airsafe.com. Read about the book at www.speedbrake.com.

5. I am looking for stories about people who have IMPROVED THEIR FITNESS AND FLATTENED THEIR STOMACHS for my book on Stomach Flattening. Please send to dougsetter@shaw.ca Selected stories will receive f.ree copies of my book.

6. I am looking for stories about PEOPLE WHO HAVE OVERCOME CRAVINGS for alcohol, tobacco and/or sugar through proper nutrition, exercise, ortho-molecular therapy or other natural healing methods. Honorable mention will be given to stories published in my book. dougsetter@shaw.ca

7. JOURNALING ANTHOLOGY. Essays wanted on your journaling experiences and how journaling has helped you. Seeking submissions from well-published writers who journal as part of their creative process. Maximum 3,000 words. Include bio note. Email diana@dianaraab.com. Paste essay in body of email. Please no attachments.

Subject line: Journaling Project/My_Story.
