Fasting here and praying also.

After a very long grueling day, one that John was particularly anxious about, the doc said things were good...but. Our hearts fell. They found enlarged lymph nodes in his lungs. Pancreatic cancer does not typically go to the lungs and this perplexed him. He asked if John had an infection and John jumped out of his seat and said"Yes Bronchitis! I have never been so happy to have bronchitis before."

And so it goes. The scan showed his lymph nodes fighting his brocnhitis and all was well on the cancer front.

All I kept saying is "now we can have Christmas".

John has a small glimmer of the prayer and support out there for him but he can't fathom what you ladies can pull together in very little time.

I guess that is why we take care of the world huh?

Well, we are dancing in the Kraus House today.

Thank you all, each of you mean so much to us and it is a comfort sitting there all day knowing you are there. God is smiling down on each of you today.

PS Dotsie - I only fasted until 11:40 when the scan was over but had to wait until 3:00 to see the doctor.

Hooray, halluja and Praise our Lord. I called my Pastor after reading this and he was so happy for John and you. He will pass it on to the others who fasted on Johns behalf and John will remain in our chain of prayers daily. Yep, I don't believe in doing anything half way if I can do more. It works. Happy holidays..

Lynn, I have tears in my eyes. I'm tickled pink for you and John! Have a blessed Christmas and keep counting those blessings.

I ended up not fasting, but was at St. Joe's with my dad while he was having a little outpatient surgery. All's well with him. While I sat and sat, I prayed and prayed for you at Hopkins.

All's well that ends well!

I'm so glad today is behind you!

It was the first prayer I offered as I opened my eyes this morning....I thank God for answering our prayers! How wonderful! God is good and merciful! I'm so happy for you both!!!! ALL THREE OF YOU! Oh what the heck! (Queen gets out of her chair, if you can believe it, puts down the Oreos, and does the happy dance all over the room)...(p.s. It ain't pretty)
