JJ, my social skills s***! I've tried developing them, but fail over and over and over. I was not born to thrive in social settings, period. I'm the weed in a lovely garden. I have checked into joining a local writing group, which meets in the main branch of our local library, but the membership is made up of doctors (published), lawyers, teachers - people way above my league. Fear, inferiority, regret hold me back. I'll reconsider joining, on your suggestion, tho.

I think I would be better at helping someone else write, not editing, but making suggestions. I just can't do any one thing really well. I accept that. Copywriting sounds like fun, but on an I feel like it bases. Couldn't do it facing a deadline... ewww, unappealing, indeed.
