That peaked my curosity...so I clicked on your web site. I've never heard of horse's being used for wool, with the added plus of little or no allergic reaction. The Curly history... traces back to the 1800's, original Native American bloodlines... how impressive. Is the horse born with the gentle and kind temperament? Or, is there training involved? Notice, you have sheep shearing - in April. Same time for the horses? Do you display and sell your fiber art at this event? Is it open to the public, or by invitation? Where is Tazewell? Gee...I sound like 20 questions.
