Will
my work be edited?
All work will be edited for clarity and grammatical correctness. If you
choose to disclose your name, send me your contact information along with
your submission, and I'll send you an edited version.
Is
it possible for me to make myself known to you, but remain anonymous to
the greater public?
Yes. I will simply include general
biographical information like the year you were born and state you are
from prior to your story. You can also use a pseudonym.
Will
my submission definitely be included in your site?
I'm sorry to say that I will not be able to include all submissions. My
goal is to compile stories that will help women feel connected and not
alone.
What
if I am a couple years shy of the boomer generation or a couple years
older? Can I still submit?
I am sorry but you must be born between the years of 1946 - 1964. Otherwise,
you are sharing a voice of another generation of women.
If
I am a published author, will you include my book titles or Web site prior
to my story?
I wouldn't have it any other way. I figure you are helping me, why not
give a plug for you and your book or business? I'm happy to add a three-sentence
biography before each story that will include your book titles and Web
address.
Do
I have to be a published author to write for your site?
Absolutely not! If you can get it on paper,
I can work with you.
How
can I submit a story?
To submit a story, please send it as a Microsoft Word attachment to stories@boomerwomenspeak.com.
You can also mail it to Boomer Women Speak, 714 York Road, Suite 955,
Towson, MD 21204. Please send a hard copy and, if possible, a disk.
However, sending a handwritten story is okay too.
