This week is a painful week for us all- once again a loss of security and innocence on that horrible, horrible day of 9/11. Our generation has dealt with a lot of loss, many aspects over many years-need not recount them here, you know of what I speak. Some of us have had to deal with it in many unspeakable, personal ways. No loss is trivial or to make "nice" about- the grieving process takes many twists and turns. All we can ever hope for is an abiding faith, a peace that comes with time and abates the anger, and the strength to go on and fulfill what we are destined to do. We need to keep our minds to the future as well as the past- women of the world are the caregivers, caretakers and I believe instruments of peace and prayer.
