JUNE 2017

Twelve months of June,
Would be fine, don't ya see.
Could I make time stand still,
June would do it for me.

Flowers bloom. Warmth swirls the air,
Birds sing. Wild geese go waddling everywhere.
Lawns are luscious, green as can be,
Open the windows. Let breezes flow free.

Take a drive in the country,
Watch cows roaming the land.
'N equines in leaping strides,
Are galloping fields, big and grand.

Sun shines on white oak leaves,
Red maple branches are waving at these.
Wind ripples water in birdbath below,
Yellow birds are splashing, wings happily slow.

June. Give me June; I love it so much,
If June would last longer, it'd be such a rush.
Keeper of the stars, bend down an ear,
Let's have June, every month of the year.
