LABOR DAY

Imagine in a perfect world,
How awesome it would be,
A global workforce laboring,
With passion, wholeheartedly.

They'd be looking forward to Monday,
With nobody dreading their plight,
Enjoying all their weekends,
'Cause weekdays are a delight.

If each piece of work brought joy,
It'd be an easy thing to face,
For every girl and every boy,
To work in a brand new place.

If laboring were totally fun,
Days off would be a bore,
'N folks would anxiously work,
At jobs they love and adore.

Some pundits say, Labor Day,
Is the "unofficial end of summer,"
But if you're anything like me,
Ya think that's a real bummer.
