FATHER

The greatest Father lives on high,
He owns the earth and fills the sky.

And the man He chose, to father our home,
Worked night and day till we were grown.

If I wrote pages, I couldn't explain,
Why daddy Ray, never complained.

Words can't describe, this farmer man,
Slight of stature, he stood tall 'n grand.

Daddy laughed, when we're havin' fun,
But cried crocodile tears, if pains begun.

The greatest gift a father can leave,
Are memories of love and the faith he believed.
