INSPIRATION

Things that make me happy,
And hopeful as a rule,
Start my fingers a-typin',
Rhyming thoughts to pool.

Fuzzy puppies, sweet-tasting sauce,
Warming lotions and sleeping in a loft.
A colorful sunrise, and sunset too,
Inspires me, what inspires you?

Somedays perhaps I'll be writing,
At least a poem or two,
And in-between that,
Find myself reading,
Your creativeness, too.
