Spring is near,
it always brings good cheer.

Dozens of Tea Roses adorn my glass table,
I gaze upon then as if they were from a fairy fable.

Pink ones, and red ones and some white ones as well,
I could swear when placing them I could hear a tinkling bell.

Each of my passing babies wore a collar of red,
with a little bell that twinkled each time they moved their head.

Life goes on and we manage even though we don't forget,
With friends like Avalon Blondie, who am I to fret?

I threw open all the curtains to let the sunshine inside,
I so appreciate the gift given, and by good cheer I will abide.
