Has anyone heard of "Metabolic Typing"? I have been following the recommendations for 2 years and my weight has been stable, with or without exercise alterations. It is based on making it easy for your body to keep to the proper pH balance. You get one of 2 food lists and that's it, no counting anything. Generally the 2 types are lighter or heavier foods but the purines, which I had never heard of, are listed to. My blog has all the book info. and the website "Nutrition Solution" by Harold Kristal.
