Just because I don’t have any time
I need to take a break; write me a rhyme.

I forget where I am, it helps me relax,
Can’t think of senior stuff, and income tax.

I play with the words, not knowing what comes,
Surprise myself with similies and silly little puns.

It’s like taking a walk through the garden at night,
Welcoming the stars twinkle in their silver light.

Tanked up again, ready to tackle daily problems,
Till they weigh me down, like pesky nasty goblins.

Then I draw back from things that do that to me,
Explore my mind and allow myself to drift gently.

And where do I land? At BWS in the poetry thread!
Write my poem for the day, and blissfully drop into bed.
