Glad to see you here Norma. I remember that show too and the Lucky Strike commercials. My elderly neighbor Marge said her doctor encouraged her to smoke as a way to keep her weight down when she was much younger. Her and her husband quit cold-turkey in their later years. Marge is still with us and going strong of course, with a few ailments, she's 82!

I told my kids this about drug dealers and as far as I'm concerned it could hold true for tobacco companies: None of these people care about your health and well-being they only want to get rich off of your misery. That always made my son really angry, the idea that someone would profit from him being hurt. It did the trick.
