gab, gabardine, gabble, gabbro

Incurable collectors of vintage clothes,
Recognize fabric 'n fashion o' old.
Gabardine garments were big in the day,
Of cloaks and capes that swished 'n swayed.

Horsemen, there, in days of ole,
Wore long, loose overcoats, so we're told.

Ladies would gab 'bout wool 'n twill,
Females like to gabble, as foxy dames will.

Gabbro, some of them say,
Is really, a real strange word,
Geogology class is 'bout,
The only place that'd be heard.
