Whoever taught tots
to bang on the pots
sure must have had lots
of second thoughts
Cuz I can't understand
the appeal of a band
of hammering and
banging on pans.
But I may be wrong
Maybe there's song
in the rhythm of throngs
of tots on cots beating strong.
