I'd sped o'er the road,
with sunlight so bright,
I had to peek under the visor...
'Twas such a long drive,
to my sisters' house,
I arrived just a little wiser.
The route that I traveled,
'twas narrower than most,
with hills and dips and curves,
And as fate would have it,
'round many a bend,
Stood whitetail deer, so I'd surve.
In the fall of the year,
And everywhere up here,
It's actually quite common,
To go for a drive and view with your eyes,
Many fluffy, whitetails a bobbin'.
