They bounced? Bounced? You're kidding, right?

Meredith,
You could be on to something.
What child wouldn't want to eat cookies that bounce?
It gives new meaning to playing with your food!

They bounced. I swear. Not a real bouncy bounce, but kind of thud-and-bounce.

Or maybe it was bounce-and-thud. I'm trying to forget. [Roll Eyes] [Roll Eyes]

Meredith.
Your bouncy cookies sounds like my first attempt at a gingerbread house dough-after putting it in the fridge like directions said I took it out and it was rock hard- I threw it at floor and it thudded-almost cracked floor A real loud thud!

I have a package of jello that's about 20 years old. Whaddaya think'll happen if I try to make it? Friends who hear this story feel sorry for me and give me jello recipes -- like if I haven't used it in 20 years, your magic recipe will inspire me to become Ms. Jello Chef?? [Razz]

Jawjaw, if you want my jello... Maybe the trick to good jello is aging it???

Personally, I think Jell-O is over rated... who's with me on this? I mean, what a waste of dessert. If you actually going to EAT dessert, why would you eat Jell-O when you could have chocolate?

Meredith, I'm jellin' like a fellin'....you?

JJ, I'm definitely with you on the JellO thing. It's one of those things I'm waiting to experience when I end up in a low-budget nursing home and have no choice. I figure if I don't eat too much of it now, it will be a real treat by then. Same with Spam (my apologies to all the Jello and Spam lovers out there).

BTW, you're not including hot jello chocolate pudding, are you? I had hot jello chocolate pudding once about 15 years ago and never forgot how wonderful it tasted. But do you think I've ever remembered to go out and buy a box and make it for myself?

Now where did I put that bag of mini Kit-Kat's...

One of my favorite diet dishes I call:

Senior salad (I call it this because I used to eat it at the Senior Center where I volunteered)

YOu take sugerless jello (cook and chill it)
Mix fruit ######## (drained)
and Whipped cream! Voilala!

An instant desert - and you don't even need teeth to eat it (killing myself here!)

d.
