I wasn't sure where to post this....

Has anyone shopped QVC or HSN? I browsed their sites yesterday & found afew items I was interested in.

It took me awhile to find where I saw these nifty little brackets you can slide behind the framing to hang curtains. I am thinking of ordering them to use in the addition....since my husband hung the blinds & there isn't an inch of space for a curtain bracket!!! [Embarrassed]

Any feedback on either QVC or HSN?
Thanks!

I have purchased many thing from both QVC and HSN. They are usaully very prompt and the operators are always very polite and helpful. The quality isn't any better or any worse than elsewhere. I can usually find better prices locally but I do like QVC's clothing line called Denim and Co. I usually end up buying stuff around the holidays, especially those gourmet treats! A lot of times, they have variety packs of things so it gives you an opportunity to try
different things. I discovered Junior's cheesecakes, Kansas City Steaks, Chseapeake Bay crabcakes and Heurmann's popcorn. I still buy KC Steaks and the popcorn, but directly from each company's websites.
These channels can be highly addictive!!

did you say QVC???? It's the absolute best! Everything from clothing to "cooks essentials". Love, love, love QVC! It's my personal addiction!

I have Cook's essentials too. They've outlasted all other cookware I've owned.

I knew someone who used to order from TV places so often that every time the UPS truck drove down the street, her young son would holler "Here comes QVC!"

[Razz]

We don't have cable TV and the HSN was dropped locally here. We haven't had it in years. When I think of the money I wasted shopping every month with them it makes me sick. Everything they sold is available here so I guess I was just being lazy and enjoyed turning in the TV to shop. You are so right in saying it is addictive. I'm glad it's not around anymore, besides my TV is never on before 8:30 p.m. when we watch a rented movie.

I am shop all the time on QVC and HSN, but I watch for the sales, and NO SHIPPING or very little shipping. Buying out of season is the best way to go, expecially on HSN. Their wish list I use to watch and wait for things to go DOWN in price and for good shipping prices or NO SHIPPING. I never buy at retail, never. LOL If it is retail, I do not need it. I have a son and brother-in-law who are into NFL and NASCAR, so I wait for things to go on sale at the end of season. Get great buys this way-on HSN

By the way, JC Penny.com, and Chadwicks.com also have some great prices out of season! You can have something shipped to your local JC Penny catalogue store at less shipping, and can also return things there. They also have a lot of NO SHIPPING days and things going on. I live so far from my family, that I ship everything, so this works wonderfully!

I am getting a rush just thinking of the money I can save on shipping and sales, and NFL and NASCar things! [Eek!] LOL
