I'm really excited about the new book I'm writing. It's about a female alligator trapper. She has to deal with a mother who wants her to find a "real" job, get married and have grandbabies. She has to deal with the other trappers who don't want her in their male-dominated "club". She has to deal with the residents and tourists of Florida who think the entire state is one big petting zoo. Oh, and she has to deal with the alligators!

It's going to be fun to write. It's been really exciting to research.

Wish me uninterrupted writing time!

Peace!

Hi, Vicki. That sounds like a very interesting theme for your newest book, and I'm sure, a good one to research. I noticed you are in Florida. I just visited your website. Thank you for the tips to the aspiring writers. I appreciate your taking the time to put up that page, and good luck with the novel!

Vicki, you live in the perfect location for researching this book. Perhaps you could drive through Alligator Alley and pull off the raod for inspiration. Just kidding!

How thrilling to start another book.

Do you have the same publisher for this one?

Thanks DonnaJ for the visit to my website. I'm glad you found some useful information. If you ever have any questions about writing let me know, I'll do my best to help answer them.

Yes, I'm in Tampa, FL. I am in contact w/the only female alligator trapper here in FL, and she's providing me with lots of great info.

Peace!

Hey Dotsie!

We take Alligator Alley partially the way to the Keys every month. We take it to CR29 and then pick up US 41 (Tamiami Trail) until we reach US1.

We go right through the Everglades National Park. It's absolutely perfect for seeing deer, alligators, birds, and panthers. But, we're smarter than the usual tourists around here. We don't jump out of the car and go chasing the gators. I stay IN THE CAR!

I haven't shopped this manuscript yet. I doubt I'll have any trouble finding a publisher though. It's a great story. (If I do say so myself!)

Peace!
