If you ever get water in your boots, stuff them with newspaper and that'll draw out the moisture.

If you ever drop a watch that is not waterproof into water,
soak it in uncooked rice. That draws the moisture out of it, as well.

Works like a charm, Jabber! Though I accidentally dropped my iPad into the tub the other night, then packed it in rice, and all seemed fine. But the next time I opened and closed it, I wouldn't fully power up. It gets to 3% charged and stops making progress!

It's a really old iPad, so I guess if I have to keep using it plugged in - that can work. But it will end my time of reading with it in the tub!!

We accidentally dropped hubby's watch in the swimming pool. He did the aforementioned process and it's working fine.
