How many of the seven dwarfs of menopause have you become acquainted with: There's SWEATY...BLOATED...FORGETFUL....ITCHY...BITCHY...SLEEPY..AND ALL-DRIED UP! ***BLOATED***is my LEAST favorite!!!!

springing a leak ... oh my. & i work too, on my feet almost all day. the mornings are the worst, then it tappers off. i still enjoy coffee & know it is also a diuretic ... so i always wear a 'pad' too. it has progressively progressed with my years adding up ... hope it levels off now!

oops ... gotta go

Doesn't it seem like everything is impacted by menopause.... I am right in the middle of it and am getting tired of all the changes... but I love the part about not having my period...

Your posts are all humerous.
Yes education about the fact ladies can leak after the menopause for various reasons needs to come out of the woodwork. There are different kinds of incontinence and different solutions. My best help was an excellent physiotherapist .Lately I heard botox was being used in some trials.

Where do you think? Yes that's right.

I did an online nursing continuing education last night on this subject since I had seen it on the forum. Aside from some technical terms...you ladies know as much as the experts.

Basically there are many possible causes of incontinence and difficulty emptying the bladder that occurs during our boomer years. So it's always best to have it checked out.

I'm wondering about the botox. It paralyzes muscles so that must be how it works. I can just hear me on a date now...

he: "You look very old--are you sure you're only 35?"

me: "Don't let my face fool you--here have a look at my bladder!"

sorry JJ got me riled up!
