I'm trying to stay motivated to continue exercising outside even when the weather gets colder - but it's hard when cold weather can do such damage on your skin! What do you usually do to keep your skin feeling healthy in cold weather?

Drink lots of water; eat lots of fruits and vegatables. I live in a dry climate so lotion is a must!

Hi Cheverly,

Sorry ladies, but forget the lotions! They keep drying your skin! Our Shea Butter is the ONLY thing to use on skin. No water/alcohol to continually dry the skin. And, you can put it in bath water (it melts nicely). Not oily/greasy by any means, as long as you "butter your body" sparingly. No need to use it more than maybe twice/day, if that much! You will NOT regret pure, unrefined Shea Butter.

We sell it because we use it. See our website for many testimonials!

Apologies for the shameless plug but just had to jump in here.

Skin care is very important to me - especially in the winter. First because I work with Eucerin and second because I love being able to exercise outside even when it gets cold (love brisk walks in the winter :)). I agree that healthy skin comes from drinking plenty of water, eating right and using tons of lotion! I keep a bottle of Eucerin Intensive repair at my desk at work, in my bathroom and in my purse. I always have it handy!

Di,
Sorry! You know I use Shea's Butter and love it. Will try it in
the bath water. Never thought of that!

Hi Di,

Thanks for jumping in to mention the importance of looking for a pure Shea Butter product. I was looking at the ingredients of a body butter the other day at the store. They called it a shea butter product, but I was amazed to see that the shea came in as the 6th ingredient -- well after water/alcohol and all the other typical lotion ingredients.

So glad you sell the "real" stuff!

Our Di sells Shea Butter and if you are troubled with dry winter skin order a jar, because it really works on dry skin anytime.Di is so right about soaking in the ntub and I feel once a day is enough even when it nis very dry outside, cold and windy...
