Hey ladies,

I feel like I need to re-introduce myself! grin

So much has been going on in my life...a wedding in Aug, a new grand-baby in Nov, and a new business in Jan.

I'm not sure if I'm coming or going. lol.

But really, life is good. I am so darn blessed!

I wanted to share that I've taken a new direction in my business, and to be honest, I am sometimes embarrassed about it. (how dumb is that).

I guess I've spent several years building my "business solutions" where my focus has been "business to business " sales...

I've fallen in love with a "business to consumer" product, and have changed the direction I am going in.

I've been offered many business opportunities over the past few years and have flatly turned them down. So, my change in direction wasn't an impulsive one.

What my new business brings to me..is the ability to be CREATIVE and to help others be creative as well.

If I had to say what my number one passion is...it would be..."people".

I guess my new business is more about people. About families, about preserving history.

Anywho, I knew you are the perfect peeps to share this with. I've got to get over the "embarrassed" feeling. I guess I feel a tad bit "flaky".

Any comments?

Hugs to ya'll,

Danita
The "ScrappingZilla"

P.S. Wouldn't you know that more business is flowing to me from my "old business" now that I've changed directions. I will continue to support my old clients, and take new referrals..but am not actively promoting my "old stuff".

Hi Danita, No need to be embarrassed!! Are you kidding? It's fun to switch things up a bit and go in new directions. I'm the pro at that... In the past 12 years I've been a web designer, a country club manager, a director of a charter school, an online store owner, and now a waste consultant. I NEED change! smile

I visited your site and that's really neat stuff. Your story for your mom is beautiful! I wish you all the best in your new biz.

If what you are Danita is flaky, then I wish for all of us here to be as flaky as you think you might be. What fun your adventurous spirit must bring to all those around you.

At 66 I was still reinventing myself and hey, what works, works at any age.You go girl...

Danita, who better than a "people" person to help others than you? I applaud you for following your heart. Who says life only has one road to travel?

Think of the people (self included) who have bucket list of all of the things they hope to do, see, and accomplish in this ONE lifetime we have! I really need to be a cat and have nine!

Go for the gusto, girl. And thank you for letting us celebrate this happy, new business you've chosen for yet another creative chapter of your life. How exciting!

Thanks ladies,

It even feels weird admitting the "embarrased" feeling. I guess its the "what is everyone going to think" syndrome.

Aside from that, I'm in my glory.

In fact, I received a call on Sat from a store front scanning company (they turn slides, and negatives and such into digital images)...she wants to talk to me about my representing her to senior communities, funeral homes, etc.

This would be a great opportunity for me to promote her AND me, to the communities that are definitly my clients. I can't wait to talk with her further!

Anywho, thanks for the encouragement! I know I'm on the right path, I just never expected to head in another direction!!!

Hugs to ya'll!

Danita
