Since we did away with our landline,and transferred our home phone number and our business phone to our cell phones, we'd been really watching our minutes on our Verizon phones. Wanting to be sure we do not go over our allotted minutes, we decided to purchase a phone number through Skype.

This is only costing $8.40/month, unlimited to USA AND Canada! We can use it to call any phone...not just someone on Skype. In fact, Dad does not even own a computer, so we can call him anytime.

Has anyone else gone this route?

No we haven't gone the Skype line route that you mentioned.

Our landline and unlimited high speed Internet is bundled together monthly. We don't have cell phone. But we occasionally, not often use Skype at this time.
