Got your attention with that one, didn't I? Here's the link:

www.stripwalker.com

The guy is walking the strip every day for a year, wearing the shirt of the day's sponsor. Each sponsor also gets a video, and other social media exposure. The earlier you buy in the year, the cheaper it is and the longer your logo/link will be online for others to check out.

I bought one day each month (for 4 months) for my new biz; he already did my video - check it out here:

http://www.youtube.com/lvstripwalker#p/u/5/GFOOK6vO5jc

And if you check the January calendar, click on January 22 for my son's birthday page.

Let me know what you think, and see if you can recognize anyone else on the calendar this month.... smile

Kathy, thanks for telling me about this. I'm on for a few days coming up. Your video was pretty fun. Were you satisfied? Where is the calendar?

Here's the January calendar:
http://www.stripwalker.com/calendar.html

You can access it at the top; there's a horizontal menu with Home, Calendar, Blog, etc.

What's he going to do for your video? I'm trying to come up with something new and different for my February day. I have an idea, but I need to see if my friend's husband is up to the challenge...

Looks very inventive but I am not sure where it goes or who sees it. Also the price to be included on a square. I must admit I so admire people coming up witrh these ideas, so smart!

I love this and think it is so creative. My hats off to this guy! And to you DD for taking the risk as one of his first customers. You have such an innovative spirit anyway, so I wasn't surprised to learn you were there first!

chatty, once again I have friends in Vegas right now. So far, they haven't won anything! They're big golfers, so were golfing yesterday, then going to a show last night.

About the Vegas economy, I always say:

Never fear, people will always come here.

And I have been right so far.

Hotel architecture is what I like about Vegas. A person could
spend forever, walking through and looking at the various themes within those mammoth structures. Love the food. Not much on
placing big bets; like the small, 1-arm bandits. Quarters are
about all we'll part with.

I know someone that just left Vegas last week. They won over 3500.00 dollars...on the quarter machines...at the Tropicana. They would win on one machine, and while they were waiting to be paid, they put money into the machine beside it and won again. They did this several times during the day. The husband AND the wife.

I love the success stories.

$3500 would be nice, wouldn't it? My hubby and I just got back from Morongo Casino near Palm Springs. I had a free night there so we had a little getaway. Wanted to lay by the pool, but it was cold and rainy.

I hit a $900 jackpot last night; it was on a nickel slot, and I hit the free games feature. Every time I had free spins, it would hit the free spins bonus again, and just kept going and going. That was fun! Although I only brought home about $600 of that win, what with losing prior to the win, and then losing a ittle more afterwards. But to come home with my starting money and then some is always a bonus.

JJ, When are we going gambling at Tunica? I need to get more money first, but I still want to do that with you someday!

Where is Tunica? Do they have casinos there? I hope you both are big winners wherever you gamble. As for me, if it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.

It's in Mississippi, Chatty....about 20 minutes or so outside of Memphis, Tennessee. It takes me about 3.5 hours to drive there. Everything has changed though in their systems. Use to, if you went very often, say 3 or 4 times a year, you would get free rooms, free playing money, and free meals...ALWAYS.

I've never paid for a room or a meal there. But...now you get "credits" and they have to pile up before you get any freebies. I suppose everyone is losing money nowadays.

Yes, it was either a nickel or penny machine - can't remember which. That was how I got my Dancing Dolphin name, because that was the name of the game I won on.

My most recent win wasn't enough to warrant a name change, thank goodness. It featured cute little cows in spaceships! smile

I too prefer dolphins to cows but if I won enough money on a machine, any machine, I would call myself whatever the machines name was, no matter what, cow, trash can, fish poop, whatever!!! Would have to be $10,000. or more though...

The day I have to sell myself or would be willing to would be a cold, snowy day in he//!!! And thats the truth. I have never understood how any woman can meet a man, say hello, and bang into the sack they fall. Whether for love or money, thats just ludicrous and discusting... Talk about having no self esteem.

Hey All:

This is hysterical...thanks for the tip about him. I also heard about the guy, Jason who had the original idea (and the stripwalker took off from there) on www.IWearYourShirt.com. You get your name on a shirt, two guys wear it, then they talk about you and take photos which they upload on each of their twitter and facebook accounts, they do video streams on You Tube and on their live video shows, they walk around in your shirt all day, blog about your company, etc. Not sure if they are less expensive than the Streetwalker or not or if one site offers more than another. I thought it was crazy at first, but I see now it's legit...and so is the guy you mentioned! Both get great press. And it works I guess! The I Wear Your Shirt guys have only 47 days left for 2010! Whew. Amazing, huh? Love the creative, innovative, marketing ideas!

Laughing, KC smile

Hi KC,
The Stripwalker was 1/2 the price of the original "I Wear Your Shirt", however he has stopped doing his original program. He got some nice job offers because of his work on the site and opted to take them instead of continuing.

He has adapted the site to a new business model, but I haven't taken the time to understand how it really works now. He refunded my advertising money, and I understand, so no worries there.

It IS a fun idea, though, isn't it?

K

I'd love to know what job he got. I hired him but wasn't satisfied with the video he made. I had to ask him to please remove it becasue I didn't like the way it protrayed the assocaiton or boomer women. He was very nice about it and refunded my money.

I think it's a great idea. Anyone know if this is done in Manhattan?

Hey there Dancing Dolphin (love your name!)

Yes, it is a fun idea and those are the best! Not only do we love it, but any innovative, wild and crazy idea is sure to attract media buzz and lots of PR. (and sometimes big bucks too!)

Did you hear about the PR whiz Peter Shankman known for his off-the-wall PR ideas? Since he travels all over the world logging in thousands of miles in countless airports every year, he figured 100,000's of people would spot him typing away on his laptop. So, he decides to sell five stickers (sponsorships) on the top of his open laptop, figuring it would be awesome exposure to a few businesses! For $2500 no less! And within a few hours, smart PR guru that he is, he sold all five the rights to his laptop...making a quick $12,500! No kidding! How's that for unique PR?!

He's laughing all the way to the bank....

KC smile

When I was in High School there was a kid who had a really neat old car and he could paint/draw like a pro. He decided to sell space on his car because he took it to the Illiana Speedway every weekend and drove it in front of all the clunkers that were going to be in the crash derby. Plus drove all around town as well. He would leave a companys add up for one month for a minimal fee, then paint over it after a month. I don't remember what he charged, the ads were different sizes and of course locations on the car but it's been said he paid for his college that way...

Sure JJ. I'll buy the bridge from you, we'll set up a RE Trust and put it into our foreign accounts and charge huge tolls to cross. This will be a front for our HMB (Hot Man Business), so we can launder the money through the bridge. Or under the bridge? You tell me, you're the queen with the moat - I'll look to you for guidance when it comes to the bridge. I'll be the HMB specialist! smile

Now the idea of a HMB sounds really neat. I'm always trying to
cross one bridge or another, so I'll invest in the purchase of the bridge and the HMB business. Hope that's a covered bridge!

JJ, are we selling stock in our bridge yet? We have an investor waiting to jump in! JJ, why don't you handle all the bridge aspects of the biz, I'd like to "handle" the Hot Man Business myself. (No, I'm not greedy - oh, okay, I can share)

Now whomever buys that bridge know that the water under the bridge is owned by ME, and there is an "over the water fee" to be paid monthly.
